Kioti UTV Updates ?

Has there been any more info released about the Kioti UTV, such as availabilty dates, if it is a new design or a clone of another Mfr, options available, price points (if available in Canada) etc?

My local dealer says he has ordered 4 and the price will be $10-ish depending on options.

Who/where is your local dealer?
When will he get them?
What options are available?

I ordered 25 of them..
I have plans on selling mine for under 10k depending on the options you chose.
They will be available around July.
These are not a clone of the other guys.
Options..there are some now but I imagine before they get released they will be more.

When does Kioti plan on announcing the offical release of this? It seems like this is the only website that has any kind of info on it. They are going to sell like crazy I think. I can't wait to test drive one. I have a feeling I'll be throwing one on the trailer after I test drive it.

It would be nice if the Kioti web page had more info, possibly an input page for those who would be interested in submitting thoughts on attachments and options that would be beneficial.

I don't have much info yet on options other than type of dump lift and windsheild I think he said. I live about 1 hour northeast of Toronto. The dealer is in Uxbridge.

He said "summer" arrival.

Don,t hold your breath with the kioti website IMHO they suck big time.I emailed them about updating there web page from 2008 to 2009 3 -4 weeks ago and finally they emailed me back yesterday.Imagine that?While I really like Kioti products there web page is little to be desired.IMHO if Kioti is going to be a real player into todays economy they better get with the program and keep there web page updated.On there website punch in new products it still states 2008-2007 products.AMAZING.coobie.

I went to the Ottawa Farm Show (Ontario, Canada) recently. There was no info that even suggested there was a Kioti UTV coming out though the sales staff were aware of it.

I was interested in the Kioti UTV product due to my satisfaction with my DK35 but can not/will not wait until "maybe later this year". I felt sorry for the dealers as they seemed to be stuck between the Company line and the customer's wants and needs.

It would seem to me that spring is when the new gear is on display and also purchased. "Later" could mean weeks, months without a machine to do what I want done now so Kioti, it's your loss. Your competitors were ready.

Current leader for my money is the Polaris XP or HD though there seems to be many models with good spec sheets and clever ideas that appeal to me. I hope to finalize the deal in early April as there is a "Sportsman" show next weekend which may influence my decision.

Just saw the spring sale flyer at the local Kioti dealer. The UTV is advertised at 10,999. This is in Ontario Canada.

Thanks for the update.

I will be in town today or tomorrow and will stop at our local Kioti dealer for another check. I will need to have a confirmed delivery date to consider it as I have much to do and need to get cracking now the snow is all but gone.

The advertised price sounds good but as everyone knows, this price is the price to get you in the shop door, not on the road. Still, if it is a competitive machine and price with confirmed delivery schedule, I would be pleased to re-consider .

FYI, A new 2008 Polaris 700cc XP out the door price (with multi-winch, tax, plate, etc) is under $15K Cdn. The 2009 is about $1K more for the similar package. The dealer has both Arctic Cat and Polaris UTV's on the lot which made comparisons very easy. Too bad there isn't a "UTV Jamboree" with all makes and models available for testing.

I stopped in at the Kioti dealer (in Alexandria, Ont), yesterday, they seemed quite surprised to hear that the UTV information was made available to another Kioti shop (in Uxbridge, Ont) while they have heard nothing from Kioti. They will be making calls to find out more.

The dealer in Uxbridge did my 50 hour service, that's why I was there. He had a huge stack of "spring sales event flyers" on the counter in the store. He said his UTV's will be arriving in late May. Maybe the flyers are not to be sent out yet but they certainly were on public display and he had no issue with me taking one of them.

I am trying to find the flyer but for the life of me I can't remember where I put it. The picture in the ad has the blonde lady sitting in the UTV from the dealers meeting.

If I find it I will scan in the ad for you.

Yes, one of them did. They know about the UTV's but have no spec sheet with prices and delivery dates so have not been able to promote them very well.

I have purchased alot from them since the DK 35 TLB and would certainly like to deal with them again on these machines but I would like a firm commitment on specs, available acc, price, delivery date, etc before I agree to hold off buying another model.

Additionally, the machine itself will need to be competitive, both with respect to capability and price too. I am interested in the UTILITY aspect because I need it to work hard so I won't have to (so much). Hopefully, the new machine will be work ready and not an exploratory, developmental model with "improvements/refinements" expected later.

Wise words Avondale. I also worry about a first year "trial" sort of a thing. The Kubota RTV, Polaris Ranger, Kawi Mule etc have been around for quite some time and have gone through a few refinements so I would anticipate the Kioti maybe doing the same.

Can't wait to see one.

Funny, my wife asked me the same question. I wonder who she is (the blonde, not my wife!). Probably some poor soul who had no idea her photo would wind up on the web!
