beautiful, Jdkid! How long is your growing season? Are the green fields
harvested or is it considered grazing or prairie land?
I dont see a lot of trees, thats why I asked about the growing season.

Condolences to you and all Kiwis for the loss of Sir Peter Blake. He was a great sailor, environmentalist, and representative of New Zealand. To be killed by pirates on the Amazon is simply beyond comprehension.

Hi ya
well the pic dose not realy show how steep as ya know we have a 4 wheel drive tractor also a dozer 2 ATV's and 2 4X4'S a 2 wheel drive would be asking for a pine box even when it rains the only thing i'd take off the drive would be the ATV's it just get's to slippy ..ok the green is for grazing as we have a lot of rock and also steep, some of the flats or hilltops i will put in hay type grasses/alfalfa ..as we do not get frosts we have a long growing season it get's cold from southern winds but with the right grasses we could have allyear growth ,sound's good but a few years ago they had snow for 2 weeks during lambing(outside all year round) and the losses were high .trees i have not got (i'll look tho)any pics of the bush on our place we have alot of nataves(?)in the bottom of gullyes one of the pic's lookes back to the house from where it's taken it would be 2 miles as the crow flys but if crow walked be closer to 3-3.5 miles we go from sea level up to 2100 feet in about 5 miles

Nice pics, JD.... When I first saw them, I thought they were here in SD, looks just like the bluffs along the Missouri River in South Dakota.
