KL120 FEL only lifting up 1 foot...

I checked the hydraulic fluid and it was half way between the two lines on the dipstick. I assume this is the safe area. The bucket curls and dumps perfect, fast and powerful. I can put the bucket on the ground and dump it, it will pick the front of the tractor right off the ground. It has to be something with one of the cylinders for the lifting of the FEL. Dmace, your low on hydrofluid, fill it up to the top line and try cycling the loader...

Talked to Eric this morning, doesn't believe the fluid is low, he'll be giving you a call shortly.

Someone mentioned back pressure on the side of the cylinder that should be returning fluid to the system causing the fel to stall at the 1 foot height. Based on your symptoms, that's also what occured to me. One possibility is a broken linkage or pivot screw in the hyd valve assembly, allow the high pressure fluid to flow, but not opening up the low pressure exhaust side enough. But, my guess is a hose quick connect for the fel that's not competely seated for that end of the cylinder.
