Your loader boom should not wiggle inside the masts. What happened
to the mast pins?

Uhhhhhh ..... I dunno :D Took the FEL off one time and remounted it and sometime after that this play showed up ..... I guess I'd better look a bit closer, eh? All this time I thought the mount/dismount was idiot proof

The boom arms do not 'wiggle' but have fore/aft 'lost motion' when going from lift to down-pressure. After my last post, in response to yours, I went out and inspected the tractor/loader. The green ribbon is on the 'latch' pin (as described in the FEL120 manual) and is where the slack is originating from as if the pin is undersize and/or the bushing 'sleeves' are bored oversize ...... :

I will check w/my dealer and see what he says :)
Afterthought - The right side has more play than the left resulting in the bucket's right side making ground contact first by about 3/8" ...... total space being taken up by wedges is about .275 left side and .340 right side. I will rectify the situation, one way or another:cool:

I saw your post, nice idea, but didn't think my CK30hst with KL130 loader had this movement. I checked when plowing snow last night and there was no movement. I picked the front of the tractor up, lifted a bucket of snow, pushed and dragged the bucket and it didn't move. My latch pin will just turn ever so slightly but I keep them well greased so they don't freeze up which would make fel removal a PITA. I'd definately see the dealer on this.

Something is amiss. The new CK30s and the new CK20 I bought all had
very tight loader mounts in this location.

Could it be that Kioti uses a replaceable bushing inside the pin hole of the
boom support and it went missing during assembly? I don't have the
parts book for the KL120 here to check.

I strongly suggest removing the FEL to check the pinholes for play and
fix this before the loader gets tweaked.

Check all hardware mounting bolts, as some may be lose or missing, on my 50 hour service I found a 4 that where realy lose, could explain slack.

Yep .... SOMETHING has changed for sure since the tractor was new .... 142 hours and frequent greasing makes this situation unlikely to be a wear problem .... it's in my shop right now and I've checked all of the mounting bolts but hadn't thought about a removable bushing that may be missing .... I'm going to dismount the loader today and see what I can see:confused2: - Having a parts book would be a BIG help but the dealer will be able tell me whether there's supposed to be a bushing there .... they will be open tomorrow. A big THANKS! to all of you for the suggestions and -- Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS! - one and all!
