Kl130 Cylinder leak

Finally found the problem! Took the tractor to a local kioti dealer and he really had no idea what he was doing, kept the tractor 3 weeks and told me there was some trash in the lines and the control valved needed to be replaced. When I picked up, it leaked down while watching it even faster and it was obvious the valved was not changed. Took the tractor 8 hours to my original dealer Little Tractor and equipment and they isolated it to the left cylinder within a 1/2 hour. They opened it up and the plastic packing was rolled and damaged. They replaced it, no more leak down and the trip was not that bad, got to spend some quality time with the in-laws.

Extremely painful when someone thinks they can hang a shingle and call themselves a dealership. I would think there must be some basic qualification criteria, like min. hours of training, Kioti certification in x y and Z. Something. In my humble opinion this is a good reason why there are certifications out there. My brother is a physical therapist, not be cause he says so, but because Northeastern University and the state of mas. says he is.

What is the process to become a dealer anyway?

Experiences like this taint the brand.

Excellent that the problem is solved! There's no dealer like the one that sold it. You went through the wringer on that one, and a lyin@ local dealer who kept it 3 weeks and claimed to do work that he didn't?

And you got to see the in-laws, yaaa! (My BIL left yesterday)

I understand it is quite a process to become a Kioti dealer. Little Tractor and equipment tried hard to fix the problem by sending the parts via ups with return labels etc. Dealer that caused more problems told me he ordered a new valve, when the area Kioti rep checked the serial number with warranty claims against it, there were none except for what Little Tractor filed. So what I've found is one can meet Kioti's requirements to be a dealer, but integrity must come from within. After this experience, I filed comments with Kioti on both dealers.
