Guys just got a 2021 Yanmar YT235 and the knob under the seat that slows the drop of the 3 point arms will not budge- Tried turning it both ways and it will not move- Tractor only has 60 hrs on it -What am I doing wrong??- thks so much!!!

Is your implement in the air? Meaning, is there a load on the 3 pt hitch. It's really tough to turn the knob is there is a significant load on the system.
It could be that the knob is seized due to lack of use. Spray some lubricant on it, and let it soak, then try to work it both ways with a pair of channel locks. (but not too much pressure at once, or you could break it)

The knob controls a needle valve in the rockshaft housing and you need to replace it and clean it and lubricate it. Spraying it with penetrating spray does NOTHING. You need to remove it and clean it, physically. Do it with the engine off so there is no hydraulic pressure on anything. I remove mine infrequently and clean and lubricate it when it gets difficult to turn the knob on my Kubota's. Not using it regularly causes it to bind up. I make it a habit to turn it regularly, whether I'm using it as a control or not. Just a little needle valve that controls the flow rate, nothing more and don't force the knob or you'll break it off.

My older Yanmar has a Set Pin the sets the Knob to the Shaft. Notorious to get Sheared. Be careful turning it being locked down. You have to look hard for it on mine. Then owners not knowing it's there and it breaks thinking it's a big problem!!

I told you what to do in my comment a few comments up. You can do what I told you to do or not, your choice but spraying it with anything won't cure the issue as the issue is the needle valve inside the rockshaft assembly. You can spray it until the cows come home and it won't do squat except make a mess on your concrete....lol..

Hyd. Section tells you do not operate the tractor with the Hydraulic rate control knob in the fully closed position. I have a feeling we now know what will happen. I would Chk. with Yanmar. Not much doubt they know what the problem is.
