We are both a Deere Dealer and a Kobelco Dealer-I think there are many good Machines out there today-in our experience, the Kobelco has more "Stick" than the Deere, and the Deere has more Bucket force-both are good Machines, and you really can't go wrong with most of the Brands out there (well, there is a Brand or two I's stay away from that are well known).
Parts are easier to get for the Deere-but we don't really sell any for either one. We had some issues with the Kobelco Mini's about five years ago, but they are entirely different Machine today-
