Kubota L2500
Decided to put a loader on my 1999 L2500 std shift. The local shop sells KOYKER loaders that will fit my kubota for around $3500. Is anyone familiar with this kind of loader or would a kubota loader be better. Appreciate all the info I have received. Great site....

Koyker makes a great deal of loaders. They seem to be stout and priced reasonably. You can get more lift capacity from them than the factory loader.

You can also check out bush hog loaders and woods loaders. But, of those, the Koyker is probably going to be the cheapest. Wallenstein (I think that is spelled right) also makes loaders and may have one for your tractor. One of their reps posts here at times, you should be able to search for them. They may be a sponsor too.

Thanks John I did some searching on this site and found many subjects on the koyker. Will read more and probably go with one. My main concern was that my tractor is a std shift and I drove an auto and it seemed like the one to use with a loader. However, will just keep mine and have a loader added to it. A whole lot cheaper. I can tolerate the std as opposed to handing out any more $$ than necessary.

Have heard/read good things about the Koyker loader.

I have a Koyker FEL on my L3710. It will out lift, out perform the Kubota FEL hands down. It is NOT as pretty a fit as the Kubota, nor is it as fast as the Kubota, due to the larger diameter rams of the factory Kubota FEL's . But in the long run I think you will be much better off. I know of at least 3 other L3710's in my area that have had issues with their Kubota FEL's. I can tell you my Koyker will out lift and out work the Kubota FEL with out of any problems the Kubota loaders seem to have.

I would suggest you look at the two side by side. You will see the Koyker is a much beefer FEL.

If you are worried about resale, I might go for the Kubota. But if you are looking to keep the tractor, the Koyker is the way to go.

Just my $0.02

When I owned a Chinese Jinma I had a koyker 160 loader on it. That was the best part of the tractor. It was built very nice and had a lot of power. I owned it for a year and really put it to work with no issues. I thought it was a decent loader.
