second one, showing the pivot point. I know that the rops for the 23 is alot higher than the 2200. have to have room for the operator on the bh.

This is the mounting on the fender/frame of the tractor. I believe this is different than the 2200

Jibber I'll offer a different angle on your needs. Why not look at the BX1530 if your only going to use the tractor for mowing. It has all the power you'd ever want to mow your lawn and the 54" is the biggest deck for that tractor. When you price a 54 vs 60 inch it's peanuts the price difference. Has 4wd and will take the implements you speak of needing.

Just a thought /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I got a package here in Rochester for a little over 12 grand

You won't find a 2230 with a folding ROPS. They put it on the 23 since the lower (non-folding) ROPS would hit your head when you use the BH.
Last year, when I was buying a B2410 and wanted a fixed ROPS so I wouldn't have to fold it down each time (no plans for a BH), the dealer could locate only one in all of New England. Kubota mates the tractor and ROPS VIN in their system and will not sanction changing them, so you won't find anything in parts for them unless it's from the bone yard.

Well, that's about what I expected. I really only need about an inch as far as my measurements. I'd like to put it in the storage barn and the doorway may be just a tad short for the ROPS.

A neighbor suggested that if it's just an inch.. I could always let air out of the rear tires when I roll it in and out.

I THINK he was joking..
