Don't think this is a fair statement at all. There are many different weights for rotary cutters, and almost all of the ones I saw are well within the weight limits of the 2410. If you get a light/mid weight 5' cutter (mine is about 520 lbs) you are fine. The 2410 is rated to lift 1300 lbs 24" behind the lift point. The FEL (LA352) for the 2410 acts as an excellent counter weight. The other point is that a heavy duty 4' cutter can weigh more than a light weight 5' cutter.

Obviously one should not use a heavy duty 5' rotary cutter without anything on the front end. Use caution and be safe.

After a 110 hrs on my 2410 and some of those hrs using my 5' rotary cutter, I would totally agree with Knight9. Weight is not an issue as long as the loader is on. I have also cut grass over 3' tall, but at a fairly slow ground speed.

Ditto!! Just bought a used 1995 B2400 with just over a thousand hours and its life has been spent doing mostly bush hogging contracting by its previous owner. It handles a 5' light duty Landpride brush hog with no problem (351 FEL attached). I put it through its paces for about 5 hrs in all sorts of conditions : flat pasture 8-12" tall grass in H range,
3-4' brush, weeds, and small saplings(less than 1" thick) in L range with great success. It speaks well for Kubotas! It starts and runs just like the new ones. It may be too big for this little tractor, but it doesn't seem to realize it yet. Rob
