Don't think this is a fair statement at all. There are many different weights for rotary cutters, and almost all of the ones I saw are well within the weight limits of the 2410. If you get a light/mid weight 5' cutter (mine is about 520 lbs) you are fine. The 2410 is rated to lift 1300 lbs 24" behind the lift point. The FEL (LA352) for the 2410 acts as an excellent counter weight. The other point is that a heavy duty 4' cutter can weigh more than a light weight 5' cutter.
Obviously one should not use a heavy duty 5' rotary cutter without anything on the front end. Use caution and be safe.
