It suddenly happened where pressing the pedal stopped the engine. The seat switch was bypassed a long time ago and worked fine. I found that tapping the brake pedals solved the problem. Does anyone know what that brake switch is for? if I lock the brake pedals, and press the HST it tries to go. Just hoping to learn something. Thanks

The brake pedal switch allows the use of the rear pto while the seat is empty. It bypasses the seat switch. Some models have you flip up the seat and some don’t. I’d recheck the bypass done on the seat first then check under the instrument panel. Mice love gnawing on wires up there.
