I agree with the fellows ref chains. Years ago I took an aircraft loading/lashing course. For trucks, etc. they preferred that chains go from left front on item to right front on floor -crisscross. Also, best angle if you can get it is 30 degrees out from middle line and 30 degrees down from center to floor - sort of a double wye if you look at it right....
