Kubota L5740 & M7060
As a supplement to my thread about telling the parts guy the serial number of your tractor, I thought you may find the below interesting:

M7060 Outer air Filter ~$24

L5740 Outer air Filter ~$72

These filters look very similar.

From memory, the inner filter for the M7060 is ~$13. However, the inner filter for the L5740 is ~$50

So, replacing both is about $37 for the M7060 but $122 for the L5740.

The filters appear to be very similar so I can't figure out the price discrepancy. I checked internet prices to see if I'd been overcharged on the L5740 filters and I was not.

Anyone know why? If it helps, my L5740 is a 2013 model, the M7060 is a 2018 model.

A LUX model vs a standard model. Whatever the market will bear. The really sad thing - no company, like K&N, makes reusable air filters for our Kubotas.

My first thoughts were along that line also. The M7060 is more of a farm utility tractor, the L series is more what a week end farmer in suburbia would use. Different market pricing.

Post the part numbers. I bet they cross over to another manufacturer that sells them cheaper.

You think kubota is actualy making any of there filters?

Having, and using, both, I'd not consider the L5740 to be any more "Lux" than the M7060.

The L5740 is more convenient in the woods but there is a noticeable difference in the capability of the two tractors. The power/weight jump is larger than I would have expected.

The hydrostatic transmission of the L5740 is also more convenient for things like loader work.

As to the part numbers (Both cab models):

L5740
Inner air filter TD270-93220
Outer air filter TD270-93232

M7060
Inner air filter 3A111-19130
Outer air filter 59800-26110

The outer on the l5740 actualy dosnt cross over to anything. The outer does on the m7060 to two dif ones.
but your not going to save any money. These must be very vehicle specific. My old b8200 air filter crosses to 24 dif filters. Its also used on many models and even my mini excavator with the same engine.
