The tractor I just bought has been sitting outside. The plastic dash panels have faded some and I need to see if anyone knows a way to restore or paint those panels? Also, where can I find the grey that Kabota uses other than a dealer? Thanks!!

Don't paint the plastic, polish it then apply 303 protectant. Plastic polish can be purchased at any local Motorcycle shop. The 303 Protectant is be a little harder to find but is available online shopping. Painting plastic will forever be a problem and for god's sakes don't use armour-all!

Most auto and body supply shops can mix paint and put it in a can for you. You cannot put the "good" stuff in a can. Only single part air dry paints work well in a spray can. The "good" stuff is a two part enamel or urethane. These are intended to be sprayed with a pro type gun. They can sometimes be shot in small areas with a "Preval" type cartridge spray gun. J

You might want to try a product called Meguiars Gold Class Trim Detailer, I used it on the black plastic pads on the front and rear bumpers of my truck; the sun had started turning them a grayish color. It took a couple of applications but it has brought the color back. I think is available a most automotive parts store.

Good call on not using the Armour All. It's an oil sucker. Don't put Armour Oil on your tires either...use tire cleaner.

For the plastic cleaning and old ace in the hole is WD40.....
