Any one here that have these on their B series tractor. I am curious how they have performed on grass, in dirt and also for snow removal?

I have never personally used them but I have seen some very good reviews from people that do have them on their tractor. :) I would think they would perform great in the dirt and on the lawn.

gabrichter, I have a 2004 Kubota B7510 hst 4x4 That I bought new and have had these tires since new. I do a lot of lawn mowing with the tractor but just bought a FEL for it. I do get into digging with it, I have a 60" box blade and a 48" brush hog also. It is my sole snow removal machine. I have a 60" front blower and a 60" front blade. I would not buy another tire for my application PERIOD!! I love them! I had a Ford 1310 gear drive with ag tires all around and switched to turfs because when you turned sharp on turf it would rip the yard up. When I sold it and bought the B7510 I asked for these tires because of the type of work I do and have been very pleased with them for the last 8 years! I have turf tires on the front. Do they tear up the yard? If you spin any tire it will tear up the yard. I have not used the R4's but have not been impressed with what I read on here about them! Just my opinion! I would buy these again!

I had bar turfs on a 1991 Deere 670 (smaller CUT).
I really liked them as an all around tire. I would run out of traction on occasion, but that was due more to a fairly lightweight tractor (about 2000 lbs) and not having rear ballast at the time.
For a smaller machine (like the smaller Kubota B series), I think you'd find them to be an excellent choice.

I too have them as rears on a Kubota B1750 and they work great snow blowing, lawn mowing and garden plowing. I have regular turfs on the front.

My adjacent neighbor and I care for over 30 acres combined. He has the B7510 with the barred turfs and I have the R4s on my B2320. The tractors do not perform significantly different. They are virtual twins. I'd say it is a toss up for traction, with an edge to the barred turfs. I've spent about as many hours on his tractor as my own.

I can say this about the barred turfs. They have picked up just about one flat per year. $100 each time for repair and re-filling. I've yet to pick up a flat. Not scientific, but I still believe the R4 to be more puncture resistant.

Also, turf tearing. I believe the B7510 with barred turfs tears the grass noticeably more. I am not convinced it is a function of the tire, but perhaps the geometry of the machines from slightly different eras. I'm not sure.

As I said before I have had my B7510 with the bar turff's since new in 2004 and have yet to .........dare I say it or will I jinx myself? Not a single flat, Not even a low pressure! I don't know about the R4's but I know they rip the yard up less than the ag's did on the old tractor! I think what little does get ripped up is because of the geometry of the front end. I would recommend them as a great combination tire.

I bought a Cub Yanmar SC2400 (simalar to the BX) last year and the first thing I did was replace the R4's with R1's. HUGE difference in performance. I believe the Industrial tire lugs are spaced so close together, they will fill with mud/snow real quick and start ya spinnin. the R1's (bar tires) don't fill up and provide a noticeable traction difference in mud and snow.
Don't tear the yard up much, unless your spinning tires or turning hard. The subcompacts are pretty light anyways. I have em on all 4 corners, and keep em on year round.

I have R1 ag tires on all my tractors and as for tearing up the turf, I think it is geometry of the machine. MY Yanmar will tear up the turf in a sharp turn because of the way the tires tilt in a turn. MY new LS doesnt tear anything and just tracks around in a tight circle. This is at low speed turns, high speed turns will all gouge out turf. The LS does leave bar tread marks in soft ground due to the 7000+ weight. Most tractors I have driven steer just like the Yanmar with the outside tire in the turn, digging in due to the way the axles are set. IF you look at the front end of most tractors the fronts are toed in a lot and cambered significantly narrower at the bottom compared to the top, that is why they dig so much on a turn.
