Need some help here. I have a 1500 hour B2400 HST. Here is whats going on. All the hydraulic functions work perfectly including the FEL and the 3 point. In REVERSE the power is completely normal. Put it against a tree in reverse and she'll spin all four no problem. The problem is VERY LOW POWER IN FORWARD. It will pull itself in low range but will not climb very much of an incline or obstacle. In high range it will barely try to pull itself on flat ground, goes normal on a down hill, and you can forget it on any kind of incline. Hydraulic fluid and filter have been replaced this morning but the problem persists. Any suggestions.

I'm not sure what's it called but I recall the service rep telling me about it (he was kinda bragging that Kubota sends more power to the steering when compared to JD to make it easier on the operator). It's a sort of manifold valve that controls how much fluid goes to which function (i.e. forward, reverse, power steering). Sounds like it's not diverting flow to forward function. Good luck...

This sounds more like a pressure relief valve problem with the hydro circuit. The priority valve only controls hydraulic oil for power steering (approx 1.6 gpm) and then the remainder to the fel and 3ph. The hydro uses a seperate circuit that's internal which includes a charge pump, the radial pump and driven radial motor. As I recall, the forward and reverse each has it's own relief circuit and this is where I'd begin.

Swapping the fwd/rev high pressure relief valves would be a good start. If it changes it to having power in fwd and no power in rev then it is a simple as replacing a relief valve, if nothing changes then it is likely a deeper internal issue.

Ok. So I swapped the forward/reverse high pressure relief valves and am still having the same problem. Could there be a problem with the seat for the forward valve? I appreciate the help so far. Any other suggestions? I've been studying the service diagrams and can't figure out what else could be causing this without affecting anything else.
