When i pull back on the stick to raise the loader, it goes up real slow. Now when i pull back slightly on the stick it goes up normal. I've switched the quick disconnects and its still only the direction of raising the loader. Fluid is up. Any ideas?
I've messed with the 3pt hitch lever, pto lever, and nothing. I bought the tractor brand new in 2010, and never a problem. All the other controls work properly

So when you swapped, and you pushed the stick forwards as you would to lower, the boom still only raised slowly? You can also swap bucket and boom for checks.

When I swapped the qd and pulled back on the stick like I was raising the boom, it was still slow. I think it turned out to be bucket roll when I switched the qd.
It痴 only slow when I pull back on the stick. Any other way that I move the stick, the controls work fine.
Bucket roll, bucket return, down boom, bucket float, all work just fine.
Thanks.

I'm just guessing.....but....

Is there a loose connection in the hydraulic lines......or a leak in that hydraulic line? Otherwise, I'd guess that there is something wrong with the position of the control itself. Good Luck,
Mike

From your statements it appears to be in the raise hydraulic path (boom extension) but some answers seem to contradict others, could you please clarify the following statements as I may be misinterpreting them.
1.<When i pull back on the stick to raise the loader, it goes up real slow> Extension of cylinder and use of boom raise valve
2.<I've switched the quick disconnects and its still only the direction of raising the loader.> Extension of cylinder and use of lower of valve
3.<It's only slow when I pull back on the stick.>Use of boom raise valve
I previously asked what happens when you swap just the boom hoses themselves and you push forwards on the stick to raise the boom, does the boom raise at normal speed when you push forwards?
When you swapped with the bucket cylinders, was the bucket curl slow when you pulled back on the stick?
When you swapped with the bucket cylinders, was the boom raise normal speed when you selected bucket curl?
One other possibility is the rose joint/rod end has come loose under the joystick.
EDIT: And forgot to mention, a QC is still a possibility.

its only when i pull back on joy stick. all other functions work normal.
when i switched qc and i pulled back on joy stick it was still slow. i think when i switched them it ended up being bucket curl when i pulled back and it was slow. So, its only when i pull back on the joy stick. if i pull back on stick just slightly it goes normal, but pull back all the way and its slow. sorry if your confused.id like to call you if possible and pick your brain.
thank you
