Oil & Fuel Kubota B2650 - oil pressure light

Is there a reset button for the oil reset light on the Kubota B2650? The oil pressure light came on. Oil is at the correct level now Do we need to turn off the light...or look for something else being wrong? Be gentle - I am very new to this!

I would disconnect then reconnect the negative from the battery for 5 minutes....not sure if that fixes it or not, but it seems easy enough to start with.
I'm curious...I have a new B2650...

You say the oil is at the correct level "now". Does that mean it was low and you added? If so, how low was it, still on the dipstick?

If the oil level was correct when the oil pressure light came on, then there is something else going on. and going around the light is not the solution.

Sounds like cavitation to the oil pump due to not enough oil.

Stop running the engine. The light shows low pressure not oil level. If there is a pressure problem you will destroy the engine very quickly.

If you are handy at all, invest in a cheap pressure gauge. Remove the sending switch and screw in the gauge.

The manual will show you what the acceptable range of oil pressure is. If you are within the pressure range on your temporary gauge, buy a new sending switch.

If your actual pressure is low, then get some qualified help before you have a pile of junk only good for parts.

Is the oil pressure gauge sending unit, mechanical or electrical?

Check for a loose wire.
