Kubota B2910
I was curious to see how many people own a B2910. If you own a B2910 post here.

Thanks,
Dave

I have one also.I also would be curious to see how many other B-2910 are out there, and see how many of those are having the same hydraulic fluid aerating problems like mine. This causes you to loose your power steering and full function of your loader after you drop your engine to an idle.

I have one used mainly for mowing. Have FEL. Tractor has about 43 hours and no problems. Will be doing 50 hr. service shortly.

I own a 2910 with slightly over 200 hours. Been a great tractor. It was one of the first 2910 sold by my dealer. Have had no problems at all. My only complaint is the location of the fuel filter bowl. Ran over a small log in soft earth and it pushed up breaking a fitting. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Use it to bush hog some very rough terrain. Clear snow from approx. 1/2 mile of driveway. Built a tractor trail on my property. And many front loader projects.

Have filled R-2s and are needed on my hilly terrain but the weight causes ruts on my nicer grassy areas so I use a riding mower for front and back yard.

If I was buying today I would go up to a "L" model for greater front loader capacity. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I bought mine in June 2000 and now have exactly 80 hours on it. No real problems yet. I don't mow with it. The implements I have for it are:

Purchased with tractor:
LA402A loader with 60" bucket
Woods 7500 backhoe, subframe and pump, 8" & 16" buckets
Woods 1160 posthole digger, 6" & 12" augers.

Purchased later:
Howse boom pole
Howse 3 pt. carry-all
Woods SS60 3 pt. snowblower
Woods HB-60 boxblade
Woods HBL-72-2 rear blade
Woods GTO-60 rototiller.

It's now completely paid for and by far one of the best investments I've ever made. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Like Henro, I'd like to get a BX to keep it company...but that might have to wait for a while. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Rick,

My dealer told me today that he has the bx2200 in a crate and that the mechanic took the day off but will put it together tomorrow...

I got my B2910 last July, towards the end if I remember correctly. Now have 208 hours on it last time I looked...real work horse...

Suppose the bx will take some hours away from the b2910, but not that much as I have not cut grass much with the b2910, not more than about 5 hours to the best of my recollection...

I have one...about a year old with around 120 hours on it. I have the LA402 loader, brushhog, rear blade, landscape rake, single bottom plow, and disk. I have 40 acres of Ozark forest in central Missouri, and have used it to do the yard, clear lots of stumps, put in a deer/turkey food plot, and lay down and groom about 12 dump truck loads of creek rock for a big driveway. I have brushhogged about a 3/4 mile walking trail through the forest, and the deer are getting so used to me and the tractor that they often follow me around. The Kubota has been flawless, and the only trouble was 1 grease fitting on the LA402 went bad. It has already paid for itself.

Got mine two months ago. Just turned 50 hours. Have moved earth-dug stumps-ripped bushes out of the ground-built stone walls and mowed a bit. No problems. Great machine for its size. Just finished the 50 hour service. I would recommend anyone who can do an oil change in a car do the service themselves.

I bought mine new in July of 01. I now have about 490 hours on it. I have noticed that when I have a heavy load in the FEL, that I experience some stiffness in the steering that only lasts for a few seconds. In the past I have had a little air in the system, but that was quickly bled out by turning the steering wheel to both extremes and holding it there for a few seconds. That is the Kubota recommended way to bleed the hydraulics. I haven't had any real problems with it other than the 72" mid mount mower pin up design, and the 3PH accessory hook ups. I solved the 3PH hook ups with a concrete floor in the barn and dollies under all my equipment.

I just recently solved the MMM pin up lousy design with gate latches on each side. So far it works like a champ. I used to cuss, sweat, strain, grunt, rant and rave like a mad man every time I had to pin up the mower deck, now I can do it in a few seconds, with no pain at all. I'm just mad at myself for not thinking of it 2 years ago.

Overall I am extremely pleased with my 2910. It has done almost everything I have asked of it, and the few times it hasn't, I shouldn't have asked . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

BubbaJr,

While I will never own a MMM for my B2910, I am sure there are a few 2910 owners that would love to see a picture of how you use gate latches to pin up you MMM. Including me! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

The reason I won't ever own a MMM for my b2910 is I decided to order a MMM with a bx2200 attached to it, to keep my B2910 company...should take delivery this week.

If you have a digital camera maybe you could post a picture or two for us.

Hi Bill,
I fully intended to do that when I made the modifications, but once I got to working, I couldn't make myself stop long enough to go to the house and get my camera. That and I wanted to make sure that it worked without any problems before I went and bragged about it to anyone. I have another project that will take a few days to complete, and once I get that done, I'll post the remedy w/pictures and part numbers.

I have one. Bought it three years ago and have 180 hours on it. Used it yesterday for about six straight hours, box scraping gravel driveway, back blade scraping and then using a rock rake to level things out. Now I got a muddy mess (rained last night) but that is not the tractor's fault. Can't believe how much help the tractor has been over the three years. Best investment I have made for our place.

Have had one for about 20 months now and love it. Only have 60+ hours on it but I've done more in those 60 hours than I could have in 600 without the tractor.

Great tractor. Only thing I don't like is the 3pt hitch swing arm retainer pins. They are small, and have a clip pin that has to go through them . . . kind of a pain. I like the retainer pin style on the TC40D, which you just push in and pull out and a ball-detent keeps it in place.

Otherwise, I wouldn't change anything.

I've had mine for about two months now. Sold a L2650 and bought the B2910. Still trying to decide if I made a mistake. Thought I needed one lighter and smaller.I have not used it enough to make my mind up.I like it more the more I use it but I miss the L. It seemed to have a lot more grunt(power)Even though it had one less horsepower. I know the weight had a lot to do with this but I beginning to think it being a gear drive helped also.

Bought ours in March 02'. Now has about 207 hours. No problems whatsoever, and quite the workhorse. Do all our own service and it is easy.

60" MMM
Hardi Mistblower SPV 600L Sprayer
Befco Cyclone RFM
3ph 850lb. Spreader

I am probably the newest B2910 owner here. It was delivered last night. I managed to get 3 hours on it. It was delivered with the FEL and BH. Next week they will deliver the MMM, 50" RC tiller and box scraper. Sometime in August or September, I'll have the Sim's cab.
OH HAPPY DAY

Hey Guys
Out of all the B-2910 owners, can you guys tell me who has serial numbers 53736 and 53738. Mine is 53737. Knowing who has these serial numbers, we can keep a close tab on them to see if they are going to develop any of the problems or symptoms that my B-2910 is having.Doing this would be great help.
