Kubota b2910 seat

My trusty B2910 seat is starting to fall apart....after 18+ years. I intend to replace it in the next few weeks, and am looking for suggestions as to who sells the best seat....with arm rests. I want something that is well built, and will hold up for years of use....would rather pay a bit more for something good.

I have the original seat off my B2710 because I bought a suspension seat. I would guess it's the same seat as a 2910. It's been sitting in the shed for 10 years and I think it's in perfect shape. If you're interested let me know, I'd like to sell it because I know I'll never use it.

I wish I'd checked this thread last week! I finally gave up trying after-market seats on my B2910 -- they seemed to sit too far forward or leaned too much forward. My Kubota dealer did a search and found one old stock seat at a dealer in Virginia. I bought it and had it shipped. Arrived yesterday.

Just so you know, that seat you have is discontinued. Can't be ordered anymore. As far as I know, I bought the last one that any dealer in this part of the country had in stock. There should be a lot of people interested in your seat if you can figure out how to advertise it. Best deal online IF it could be ordered was about $500 after shipping. I got a little bit of a discount because some screws were missing, but still paid twice what the cheap seats sell for.

There must be others looking for it. Good luck.

Here's the diagram and part numbers. Seat with armrests is the "Assembly", part #200. Seat alone is #201.

Thanks, I might advertise it on the forum. I also have the rails that it rides on, I had to make new ones to fit the seat I bought. Instead of investing in the stock market I should have invested in Kubota seats.
