OK, I'll be first. I have a
B2910...
I am not familiar with your tractor, but from what I have seen, the L series and B series are different animals.
My guess, and I should stress GUESS is that the
B2910 won't do the same work for you as your present tractor.
I am going out on a limb here, talking about a tractor I know nothing about, but I do know the L series tractors I have looked at were bigger and heavier than the
B2910. For pullling a plow or ground engaging, that has to be worth something.
As far as cutting the grass, my RFM does a pretty good job, both on my short weeks that I call grass, and on a patch of real grass too.
I can't help but keep thinking that
a B series tractor is not an L series tractor..."
Hopefully, someone else will give a more-valued opinion, or some specific experience that will answer the question.
