I agree or if it will make you feel better, wipe around the filter with a paper towel until you get no dirt or oil and any other areas around the filter that could possibly catch a drop of oil. Then continue monitoring. If you then get another drop repeat wiping and you should find where it's coming from but you'll probably not get anymore.:thumbsup:Quarter sized is probabally just one drop. Most likely one that was missed when you wiped it down.

Another possability is if you removed the filter, removed the extra ring and then reinstalled the filter with the one original ring and the ring maybe got distorted and is allowing a slight drip which you'll know when you do your second wipe with paper towels around the filter connecting point. If you do, tighten filter abit and then recheck later and if still getting a slight drop forget it and keep check on your oil level or take filter off and reinstall with a new oil seal ring.
