Kubota B3200 / LA504 FEL SSQA/Grapple Question

I have a Kubota B3200 with a LA504 FEL and pin-on bucket.

I am planning on adding a Grapple.

Landpride makes the SGC06 series Grapple that will pin on to my loader, but my first impression is that it isn't as strong as some of the root rake grapples out there. I believe that I would prefer the root rake style grapple.

Everything Attachments offers a 54" Construction Attachment Root Rake Grapple that can be made to pin-on to my FEL but it weights in at 455 pounds. At the pins I have about 1,000 pounds of lift.

Everything else I have found is either SSQA or JDQA.



SSQA adapters from ATI and WR Long fall between $800 & $900 and add an additional 75 to 100 pounds, and they move the grapple further out, lessening the capacity.

Another cost issue is converting my existing bucket to SSQA or buying another bucket.

I wouldn't mind staying with pin-on as it saves $, but I don't have very many pin-on grapple options that I am aware of.



One of the grapples I am considering is the EA 50 Compact Wicked Root Grapple and is about 275 pounds, but alas is not available in the B series pin-on.



Poking around I found that the new B series loaders, LA534 come with an SSQA option that appears to be like the JDQA. This got my brain housing group thinking.....

Will the LA534 SSQA option fit on a LA504?

Anyone with a LA534 that would mind confirming some measurements? Inside and outside distance between the mast pins and the distance between the mast pins and the cylinder pins should be all I need.

Second question to any LA534 owners - what is the distance from the center to the pin to the attachment face?

Just wondering if this is another SSQA solution.

I've got a B3300 with L504 SSQA from Kubota. So they will have a SSQA that fits your loader for sure.

I also added the WR Long 3rd function valve and EA 50" Wicked Grapple. Awesome and capable combination! The SSQA is invaluable in attachment change (grapple to bucket to forks etc).

I was told Kubota didn't offer the LA504 with SSQA or I would have bought it that way.

Would you take a picture of your setup for me please.

Very glad to here the 50" grapple on SSQA works well on the B3200 as that is where my options keep heading to...

Update:

I did a little digging and found the LA534 SSQA adapter part number 7J056-36103.

Messick's online parts shows the cost at $505.00 (That is over $300 less than the ATI or WR Long SSQA adapters I found on EA's website)

The SSQA adapter weights about 80#

EA's 50" Compact Wicked Root Grapple is the lightest (275#) and least expensive ($1,500) Root Grapple available that will fit on my tractor...

Now all I need to find out is if the Kubota LA534 SSQA adapter will fit on my LA504 loader.....

So, If there are any LA534 owners out there that would be so kind to measure the horizontal and vertical distances between the pins for me....

Measuring the pin on mounts on my loader, I have 31 15/16" at the widest measurement & 27 1/16 and the narrowest measurement. My pins are 1" in diameter and are 8" center to center apart (mast to hydraulic cylinder)

I can almost taste the sweet victory of having a grapple..:licking:

I made a call, but couldn't come up with an answer. I do know that the pin spacing of the 504 is the same as the 304 and 364 though.
I'm sure someone here will measure for you. If they have a SSQA, they can just measure where the quick attach pins onto the loader.

I called and talked to a salesman at Messick's today and he crossed the pin-on bucket part numbers for the 504 and 534 and told me they were the same. :cool2:

It sounds like I have a SSQA solution.

He also told me a SSQA bucket would be $660......so it looks like I'll be pinning on a bucket for a little bit. In the mean time I'll do some research on mod'ing my existing bucket to SSQA.

Thank you very much for the video. You have the WR Long 3rd function correct?

That is my next step, getting the hydraulics on the tractor.
