The drawbar doesn't need a pin, the clevis and chain keep it from coming off:

No pin needed, that bar is really tough to get on or off with no weight on it. I think there is a pin on the other side...lol.

Swierczt, do you need any more detail? If so I'll try and remember to get a picture the next time I flip the compost pile.
