I have an old B6100 that I bought used 2 years ago. This winter it started to get hard to shift and the clutch would not disengage completely. Then it stuck in forward. I pulled the top off of the gear box and the shift slid on the one shaft was tight. I honed that out and it now shifts fine but the clutch still will not disengage completely. I have adjusted the intermediate rod as far as it will go and have adjusted the end stop to see if this would make a difference. None of this has mad any difference.

Anyone have any ideas?

Time for a new clutch?

I had my old L275 apart over the winter for an engine rebuild. It has a dual-disk clutch....one for the drive, and one for the PTO. The PTO disk was stuck to the pressure plate, actually rusted to it! That explains why it would not release. Maybe you have a similar situation.
After this rebuild, the old girl has earned an indoor spot in the garage! Mother nature can be tough.

Or the clutch disc hub splines are rusted to the trans input shaft, preventing the disc from backing away from the flywheel when the pressure plate is released...

The B6100 and I think all of the B series of that vintage came with a small wood block that was intended to be put in the clutch pivot area to hold the clutch down for storage. It was intended to prevent the clutch disc form rusting to the flywheel. The block was about a 1" cube.

Check in the tool box to see if it there in the back.
