3-Point Hitch Kubota B7100 Three Point Hitch Issue

The three point hitch on my B7100 will not "feather" when raising. As I start to raise the lift handle, it makes an awful noise (like a dead-end hydraulic circuit) until I pull it to the full up position where it then raises normally (but at full speed) .
this is not a big issue for mowers / sprayers exc, but it is a real problem when trying to use a box scraper or blade. I am thinking that it may be a bad spool in the valve? Anyone else have this issue? Maybe its an easy adjustment that I am missing?(wishful thinking!) :laughing:

That's the way my B6100 three point hitch worked. Pretty much three positions of the handle up - off - down. There was no "feather" and it made that noise if I tried. To get anything other than full up or full down I had to "catch it in the middle" which was nigh-on to impossible. Frustrating.

The relief valve on these old and smaller Kubota is quite loud. The sound you hear when feathering the valve is just the relief valve. Nothing to worry about.

The B7000 I had did the exact same thing.

I had B7100HST also did the samething...make sure the flow valve all the way open.
