Hi, I noticed my PTO won't stay up, when I raise it at all it gradually falls very very slow. It has plenty of fluid. Just wondering what it might be and how hard and expensive this would be to fix....... PS, It's a 5ft. Woods finish mower.

Do you mean the 3 point linkage? the linkage that the mower is lifted with?

if so is this drop with the engine on or off?
sometimes tractors hydraulics leakdown very slowly, when i had my B6000 if i left the 3pt linkage up and left it for the night it would have leaked down by the moning (this is with nothing on it. Its not a problem, just an irritation, cant remember why it happens

If this isnt the explenation, im sure someone else will give you a better answer

Yes, It's the 3 pt..... It slowly falls with the engine running, and with or without the mower attached. Sorry I didn't make it clear. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks, Darin
