My B7300 has only about 100 hrs on it. It has been sitting for about 6-8 months.
It will not start, I turn the key and no click. The battery is pretty new, I charged it and checked, it is good.
Turn the key to preheat the glow plugs. 2 lights come on on strong in the instrument panel--red lights above the battery and the oil level indicators. No light above the glowplug indicator.
Turn the key to start, I get nothing. No click, engine does not turn over. The headlights are missing the lamps, so I can't check that. But when I turn the hazard light switch on, I get a funny buzzing sound.

I have followed the start instructions in the manual step by step, positioning each lever as instructed.
I have double checked all the positions of the levers (especially the PTO and speed control--accelerator pedal--), moved them forward and back many times, still nothing.

I've read where people check every relay, I'm hoping I can solve it before I have to do that as I'm not competent electronically.

Where would you start?

Check all the "safety" things, seat sensor, PTO (which you did), etc.
My PTO lever on my B7610 has to be positioned just right. I've bumped it a couple of times getting on and off and prevented it from starting.

I'd start by jumping the starter to bypass everything,to prove the starting system is functional.
Place tractor in neutral, set brake, apply battery power to the small
terminal at the starter momentarily.
If it cranks,or runs, you will have a new direction to pursue in troubleshooting.
Post back.
Good Luck!

Remove cables from battery. Clean terminals. Clean cable connectors. Replace connectors on battery and tighten securely. If you can wiggle or move them they're not secure. Follow ground lead to frame. Clean and tighten. I don't know this is the problem but this way you'll be sure to have adequate current flow if the battery is good and charged. Your basic problem sounds as though a safety is not being satisfied, though the buzzing from the hazard switch bothers me. That could possibly be a dirty battery connection. Remember to depress the clutch. If you have an HST transmission be sure the treadle is in a neutral position.

Thanks for the great recommendations, I will pursue these steps to hopefully isolate the problem, or at least head in the general direction.

One thing--I can not find a safety seat switch on the electrical diagram for this tractor...I'm assuming there must be one, right? its not my tractor so I don't remember it but I'm pretty sure I have noticed this function in the past...
I'll take pictures of the seat tomorrow, there is nothing visible under the seat to indicate there is a sensor

Maybe a rodent chewed a wire somewhere since it has sat for so many months?

Have you checked the clutch switch.
It probably doesn’t have a seat switch. ??

I second this.....

usually when nothing is happening, but I have power, I know it is most likely a safety switch.

move all of your levers and switches around and then back in the neutral (or starting) position.

Has this issue been resolved?
Note to OP/barngal: there is no seat safety switch on a B7300....only switches are on the PTO, the HI/LO (turtle/rabbit) selector, and the clutch....PTO & HI/LO must be in Neutral position and clutch depressed to start. Anything else might be chewed/corroded wires either in the key switch, starter, battery. I have seen where battery cables get badly corroded and will prevent starting.
