New to TBN, i live in upstate NY, 1 hour north of Albany.
Looking to purchase a b7510, with a fel, and a mmm.
I visited Salem Farm Supply, and was given a price of
$14,200. Does this seem fair?
I have heard a lot of good feedback from people who purchased equipment from Salem, and i was wondering
if anyone could add something to this buying decision.
Not sure about area differences, but in N. Illinois, my friend just bought a B7610 with the FEL and MMM for $15,275, while the same in a B7510 was $14,700. He is a die hard Green & Yellow man, but John Deere on a comparable machine was $4,000 more. Mind you that is all here in N. Illinois. For what it's worth.
I used to be Green and Yellow until my Deere was in the shop more than home. I think that is a function of the service center more than Deere. However...from that incident, I decided to try Kubota. I selected a B7510 with the r4 tires. I think it is great. The price you are talking about is in range I I do not think you would be disappointed. This tractor can handle a lot and still tread lightly on turf.

That's a decent price. 6 weeks ago I bought a B7510 in CNY with a FEL and Bush Hog 5' finish mower for 14,300. I have 5 acres with ~1.5 acres of grass and another acre of fields. It does a great job mowing both. I haven't done enough digging to wear much paint off the bucket, but from what I've attempted, I am very pleased. The 4 wheel drive is great. I went with the Turf tires as its primary use is mowing and landscaping.
