Has anyone experience failure of the back seat switch on the kubota b7800 and malfunction of the fuel gage.
The guage works however the only time it is acurate is when it is full from then on its look in the tank. Mine will not start at all by seting on the seat., however all I have to do is press the front seat switch and she starts right up confusing to me.
It just appears to be a bad seat switch rear.

I'd be contacting you dealer, I haven't heard of any problems like you have described.

Fisherman, I have a 7800 and have not experienced these problems. I'd take Art's advice and contact your dealer.

I have a B7800 and have had no problems either. I would echo Art as well on those issues. You may have gotten the bad apple in the bunch.

Same, same. I'm still under 30 hours on my B7800, but no such problems.

Not to sound like a know it all, but I have run into a similar situation, where if the rear pto is engaged, it wont start, in a fashion that you are describing. only if the seat is forward pushing on the front switch, I guess its used for chopping wood.
