KUBOTA B8200 HST 3 cylinder, diesel, HELP WITH TIMMING and numbering cylinders

Hi

Can anyone help with how I do the timing.

Also how do you number the cylinders, is the first cylinder behind the fan number 1 or is it reversed and is number 3.

if you have your front cover off you should see the gear for your cam, crank, and fuel cam. each of those gears have timing marks. I believe the crank has 2 marks, and the fuel cam has 1 mark. The valve cam has both all you do is pull your valve cam out turn your crank till the marks are facing up and the fuel cam facing to the side, slide the valve cam back in and line up the marks on it with the ones on the other two. You may have to make slight adjustments till you get it right but once done she's in time. As for cylinders I believe it's 1-3-2 starting from the fan. You don't need to worry about TDC. Just line up your tick marks and you are good.
