Thanks RobertN. This tractor doesn't have a loader, so it shouldn't be too bad. I hope to test drive it in the next couple of days.

Welcome to TBN, I have b9200 with FEL , BH, and 5' rotarycutter. I paid $11300 three years ago with 900 hours on meter. I have since put on over 1000 hours so I do not know how accurate the first reading was. Maybe it had been around once already. I love the unit and it has done a ton of work for me in 3 years. Bought a 3pt snowblower last year and it sure does a nice job on my driveway. I have original documentation and will look tonight at the horsepower rating and let you know. I have HST 4wd with power steering. If you end up using yours in winter be sure to look at thread about using golf cart cover for a winter cab as it works great!

here are the HP specs from original documentation. 22.5HP(gross engine) and 16HP for PTO. This is vertical, water cooled 4 cylinders with 75mm by 70mm bore and stroke. Total displacement of 75.4 cu.in.
According to my table these apply to B9200HST-E 2wd and B9200HST-D 4wd

Thanks for the info emery. I drove it over lunch yesterday and had a long talk with the salesman last night. It's getting more tempting all the time!

That's interesting, because my B8200(same x200 family), is rated 19hp, with 16hp on the pto. I would have guessed the B9200 would be more like 18-19hp on the pto.

Thanks everyone for your help. I found out that the hour meter had rolled over once, for a total of 1670 hours, so it has had just under 100 hours of use per year. Acceptable, as it sounds very solid.

I picked it up Saturday morning, so I have officially joined the Kubota brotherhood. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I have some cleaning up to do on it, but I'm anxiously waiting for the grass to start growing so I can get some seat time.

Welcome to the 'family' and I know you will enjoy the new machine. I wonder how I ever did without mine. Of course I had to build a new barn to house the thing properly.
Don't hesitate to email me directly as well as post into forum if you have any further questions. I'm no expert but will gladly try to help if I can.

Indiana... I read your saga of buying the 9200 with interest- I just bought a used B8200, with 465 hours, and a
loader and scraper blade, along with a post hole auger. Mine didn't have power steering, and in using the loader
to clear tons of snow this winter, I decided I had to have it. Turf tires are largely to blame, but they are in fine
shape, so I'm stuck with them for now. I found Kubota power steering kits for sale on the classified here on TBN,
and wound up getting one from Histand Implement, in Penna. He also had a kit for your 9200 for sale- mine was
new but had been in storage for some time. I paid $725, which is about what they were asking. Since I have
to modify the loader mounting a little for clearance, it isn't on yet, but the kit is all there and should work fine.

Have fun.
