I remember those threads and your fix ovrszd. That was a good idea!

I didn't have that much ambition so I just have small zip ties on my retainer pins so they can't slide up.

Your fix is how they should come from Kubota. But then they have to increase the prices another 6 grand for the re-tooling. LOL

My left loader pin came off. I'm glad I happened to look at the ground and saw it, could have bent or broke something.

I put those black, strong paper clips on the rod that secures the pin.

Dod your backhoe secure in the same manner as the OP's?
Was the locking pin also in the wrong hole?
