What is the least expensive way to get a FEL. My husband can install the fel. Since he can install the FEL will I be able Marjkova@webtv.net to expect the price to be lower than if put on by dealer? <font color="red"> </font> least expensive way to get FEL

Marge, I don't think there is any money you can save by your husband installing the FEL. On a BX2230, the FEL is pretty small, so it's not a difficult task for the dealer to install it, and he's probably not going to knock very much, if anything, off the price if you do the installation instead.

Actually, there might also be some issues with the warranty on the tractor or the FEL if it's a do-it-yourself installation.

Most dealers offer a package deal if you purchase the FEL at the same time you buy the BX2230. But if you already have the tractor, maybe you can shop around a bit among different Kubota dealers to see who offers the best price.
