Kubota BX23 Clicking sound

If it doesn't have them already weld a couple of chain hooks and a receiver to the bucket it will save your back. I just finished them on my BX see the customization forum i posted some pictures. I have them on my B and use them all the time.

I found the rolling issue very quickly. Shifted to N in a slight decline and off she went lol. Great advice. Even though I read the instructions 4 times, I still can't release the backhoe form tractor. Any advice?

What doesn't it do? Can you get the pins out? Is it stuck on the bottom hooks? There are a few good you tube videos on removing the back hoe from the BX series that could help. I don't have the links handy but a search for BX backhoe removal should work.

I checked youtube, nothing. In fact I can't find much info on the BX23 online as far as user help goes. It does not have the pins like the 24 and 25 do. It has "spring loaded release pins" which when I release as per instructions and try to raise "per instructions", it raises the tractor. I believe I have followed the book but still have it hanging off lol. I asked the local dealer and of course they were no help unless I was buying something . Thus far no one here knows either. What have I bought? lol

I thought I was going crazy not being able to remove the backhoe from the "23". I found the culprit. The left "pinch clamp" had frozen and wouldn't release even under the weight of backhoe.
Sprayed it with WD40 and waited a few and amazingly it popped loose. I am curious as to why there's not much info on a BX23.

I'm glad you got it solved. It was my mistake in thinking that the Bx23 was the same as my BX25. Sorry about that. I'm sure there are others with the BX23 here, maybe they stopped following this thread. Try starting a new thread with a title that describes your specific issue instead of jumping on to an existing thread. It could help and makes it easier to search for later.

I have a 23 and the pinch clamps would have been my suggestion as well...Not much else to hang it up. Glad you figured it out.
