Oil & Fuel Kubota BX25 Hydraulic Problem

The other day I was using the bucket to lift and pile broken tree limbs. I had been using it couple hours or more doing this when all of sudden there as a high pressure spray leak of fluid from an area directly behind the engine, high up in an area I can not see by crawling under and looking up. Anyway, by the time I responded and shut the tractor down enough fluid had escaped to deactivate all of the hydraulics, including the transmission. The problem was not caused by my having rammed a tree branch into the area a�nd the tractor was not overheated. I need suggestions as to what actually failed or broke and how I might be able to effect repair myself. Thanks in advance to any all suggestions.

I've seen the o'rings blow out on the steel lines that go into the steering valve located under the battery. they are a banjo bolt type fitting with o'rings. These can be a bug gar to get to but can usually be accessed without dissembling the entire machine. Remove the black panel directly under the steering wheel where the battery is and try to see any problems in that area.

Thanks. I'll try to get the tractor (by pushing) into my garage in the morning and see what I can see in that area after removing battery.

Power wash everything Clean, then dry it... replace enough fluid to show you where the leak is... You actually will have to find the leak before planning the repair.... Good luck & Post pictures... KennyV

Thanks. I've pressure washed, now waiting for tractor to dry before pushing into garage tomorrow when I'll do as suggested in this and past suggestion.

Grab a can of brake clean spray area where you think is leaking this spray will clean and dry quickly helps to locate problem area.
