BTW guys, USD$ to CAD$ pretty low right now $17K USD = $22K CAD so a $20K CAD is a pretty good price. On the MAX vs Kubota the MAX 25 or 28 come as a TLB same as BX25 so why not get a quote on that? Personally I would go orange as they have a longer history and known resale value as you can see by the used market.

The cab is a nice addition and probably adds about $4K or so, and as others have said, maybe consider B2620 size with BH and cab - probably pushing over $30K though.

The B26 line would be great with a cab, but it is unfortunately out of my budget. I was trying to stay under 20K. I suppose that I could always just bundle up in the winter (PA winters can be cold for sure) and forego the cab. I don't think I would ever add a backhoe if I didn't get it up front, and I do have use for it--it makes sense to get the machine with the most useful tools I suppose. This is my first tractor (besides my current riding mower), and I may upgrade someday to a larger machine--enter the B26 series with cab. For now though, the BX25D looks like a great entry machine....now, if I can just figure out how to run that backhoe correctly...hmmm.....

We live near Calgary in Alberta
The best price we have been quoted on a new BX25d ( no extra attachments just standard loader and backhoe)
Cash purchase - $20600
0% / 60 month - $22800 plus insurance approx $20pm

Be interested to here what other prices are out there especially in our location
Thanks

There are some used ones out there here is one with 200 hrs including rear blade, mower, and tiller for a decent price. To get these attachments would add about $5K Kubota BX25D | farming equipment | Calgary | Kijiji

Also 0% financing is not 0% with a $2200 difference than cash. I see Tractorland Kubota dealerships own the greater Calgary area, so you might want to contact a dealer outside their network for an alternate quote - we have the same situation here in NH - one dealer bought up all the local dealers - so they can set local pricing.

You can do a simple soft cab using a golf cart enclosure and adding the roof. I did this to my B21 this year $130 Geeenline golf cart cab.

Yes noticed that one for sale
It has an issue with brake
Dealer quote to replace brake including parts and labour - $1500 !! Which seems rather high, plus I need the heavy duty tire
Dealer quote for tires was $1000
So doing repair and changing tires could be $2500 but it does come with attachments so pros and cons to both buying new and used
As you suggest I will try obtaining pricing on a new bx25d from out of town dealer to compare with Tractorland
Yes I agreed re: 0% pricing in real terms it's about 2.5% which is pretty good but not 0%
Plus if you financed via KUBOTA you have take there insurance which is $18pm for 60 month but on the plus side it 'seems' to offer good coverage.

Besides the FEL and BH, my new BX came equipped with a Land Pride post hole digger, set of real pallet forks with the frame (not the clamp-on type), lightly used County Line 6' Landscape rake (still had the TSC price tag on it), QC for the FEL, 3 PT hitch for the rear, pair of LED work lights for the ROPS, mechanical thumb for the BH, pair of bucket hooks welded on, Hydraulic front blade with the undermount QC hitch and hoses, a full tank of diesel and a cap. $24K delivered. I took the 0%/60 deal. Then the dealer forgot to process the paperwork and I used the tractor for more than 4 months (50 hours) without making a payment, I had to call to remind them, still have not gotten a bill. In the meantime I added the BXpanded tooth bar and Underarmor plate.

Hey
Sounds like your BX is fully loaded with extra attachments
How you finding it for every day use and is it a very versatile machine for its compact size. We have a small acreage and the BX looks a good choice of machine but only recently started doing a little research on them
Your thoughts would be appreciated

So far, I love it. Our 2 acre lot is mostly woods and chock full of rocks. I've put 50 hours on it carting logs, brush, rocks, gravel, blocks, bricks, mulch, lumber, firewood, pallets, chicken feed, concrete mix, small machinery, folding chairs, tires, scrap metal, garden debris, potted shrubs, 2' x 3' slabs of blue stone, garden hoses, bales of hay and even some plain old dirt! The back hoe is my favorite implement, I love to dig without breaking a sweat! We had an issue with the main line to the septic tank this past summer. Had to pay the septic company nearly $750 for two guys to hand dig a trench 12' long and 4' deep to uncover the 4" PVC pipe. That hurt. Before the BX, I spent a lot of time with a shovel, rake and wheelbarrow in hand and I really appreciate what this tool can do. Today I was putting away the lawn furniture and needed to lift the self-propelled JD mower up to its storage spot on the implement rack I built to make room in the storage barn. I folded the handle, wheeled it into the loader bucket and safely placed it up on the 6' high rack. I have not used the wheelbarrow since getting the BX. Yard work is no longer a dreaded chore. The BX is the perfect size for our property. The BX easily fits between trees and boulders. It shares the storage barn with our old JD riding mower and leaves enough room for a whole bunch of other tools and implements.

Green and orange, living together in harmony!
