Thanks for the update, and I'm glad your dealer was able to take care of your tractor. I too am patiently waiting a redesign of the 2000 series to incorporate some of the best 1000 series features. Who knows, maybe all of this tier 4 hoopla will die down in a couple of years and I'll be able to afford another new tractor.

xskier i have 1026r and was thinking about getting front blade. Are you happy with yours in this picture

I think the 54 quick hitch blade is a good choice for snow removal. The Kubota front blade is nicer, but not nice enough for me to accept the rest of the BX shortcomings.

I've read in some reviews that the JD 2305 predecessor model had some rear PTO/transmission box exposure issues. I don't own either tractor, but I am looking to buy one of them. I have not read that this issue was addressed in either the 1026R or 1025R predecessor machines. Would be interested in everyone's view on this. Thanks.
