Sigh, I'm thinking the actual repair is going to be easier than getting the parts....... I need the slider piece on the governor arm, schematic shows it separate, remove the arm, pop out the rivets(or drill clearance holes on new one and slide over existing rivets-another forum).. Kubota tells me it's not available.....then they tell me they can't send me a parts breakdown for the injector pump, not allowed to.....they said just to buy a pump.....

Look on internet/CL/Fleabay for a broken engine and buy a whole pump. Even a broken pump might yield enough parts for you. Those engines are very widely used, so plenty of broken ones around. Toro & Jacobsen are/were prolific users of them in the Turf industry.

Might call these folks. I needed an IP for an L305. They had one and sent it to me for $425 a couple of years ago. Easy to talk to and good service and price. https://oregonfuelinjection.com/

Update. Was getting ready to send it to Pumpguy(nice fella btw) when one of my suppliers called me. They found a set of springs in their warehouse, and I will have them today. Ordering a mini brazing set so I can repair the broken arm, in the meantime I'm stuck repairing a track trencher, new sprocket, chain and the usual PM stuff. Had a busted sod cutter when I came in this morning, and a long to-do list from the boss, ranging from simple to "put it off as long as I can".....

Ok, got the pump rebuilt, but, does anyone have an actual photo of the governor assembly? The schematic is kinda general, and does not show exactly what I have, and I need to figure out which way this broken piece goes, before I repair it. Ordinarily I would match up the break, but this thing snapped right on the bend line, so clean it's almost like it was cut. Thanks in advance.
To clarify, it is the part where the throttle lever sits, on the piece that slides backwards and forwards on the two "rivets"......

Update: Found a pic after searching for a couple of hours, a nice braze job fixed the broken part right up, hopefully I will be able to test run it today, but still waiting on an intake gasket. The gasket will not stop me checking the functionality of the rebuilt pump, and it appears that all the parts are in the right place on the governor. I was missing the bleed bolt on the side of the pump(the dangers of having multiple people around my work area) But I dug through some boxes of stuff late last night and found a suitable replacement. Meanwhile, it's friday, things get crazy here on fridays.

Ok, fellas, need some help again. Pump is repaired, governor is repaired, got everything installed, pump has nice even pressure pulses. Fired up the engine. It went runaway, key off didn't work, manual shutoff didn't work, so I pinched the fuel line which shut it down.
So, I've got something wrong....... I am running without the intake manifold, but I don't see this as a cause.
Looking at it with the throttle plate removed, everything seems to be where it needs to be. Solenoid operates the slide on the pump correctly, except it doesn't shut down, and of course the super high speed...... I'm still learning here fellas, a little help?
Thanks for all the knowledge you have imparted at this point, I'm learning.....
