Kubota d722 no throttle after front engine cover replacement.

Hi, the alternator mount section of the front engine cover snapped off from engine vibration. I replaced the front cover and replaced throttle and engine start/stop springs. Hooked everything up and started the engine. The engine starts right up but no throttle?. The throttle cable is hooked up, even when moving the throttle lever manually, still no throttle/rpm’s. Just idles?. What am I missing,

Can't say i've ever been in there (own 4 of these little 3cyl diesels but none ever been into by me) BUT it definitely looks like the linkages are on the timing cover side of things, which means you had to transfer or otherwise mess with this stuff in order to replace a timing cover. So at this point you must be more familiar with what's in there than i am.. but it looks to me like you should pull off the 4-bolt cover the arms are going through and do a visual inspection.

Pic below, red line is parting line between block and timing cover, the arrow is the 4bolt arm assembly cover thing i would start looking under.
