I am posting this in the Kubota sub-forum as I think it is he best location to get good responses to my question.
I have a Kubota Engine (V2403) that is not in a tractor but I figure that someone with a similar sized engine in a tractor will have a good answer.
Basically if you have a Kubota tractor/engine with a horsepower around 45-55 it should get me a good idea. My engine (V2403) has 48.9 hp and I am beginning to question if the battery is undersized but have no similar Kubota engines and batteries to compare it to.
My issue is long going and does not seem to be ID'ed very accurately as to the exact problem by the equipment manufacturer and their engine reps. I am now starting to look and think outside the box. Yes my battery has been tested and passes with flying colors. Cables have been swapped and cleaned and a lot else as well.
I am not listing my battery CCA as I don't want to go down the path (yet) of posts saying "Oh that should be plenty" etc.
I just want to see what Kubota is putting into their similar diesel engine sized tractors.
If you could list the horsepower and the stock battery CCA of your Kubota tractor (if you fall in the 45-55 hp range) I would appreciate it. Maybe the Group size but that is not always representative of CCA.
Thanks
