Very interesting remark. Makes me want to look at a F series now.

It surprised me a bit since I was concerned about it. I went from ZD to F series few years back. I think the reason for this, the F series deck height is control by ground contact, while the ZD deck is suspended.

I'll give another plus for an F series mower, or any of the front mounted 4wd mowers.
I just picked up an old Kubota F2000 this year, its the best mower I have used.
