Well, as an update, last Sat.(11/12), I called MB Tractor in N.H. for another opinion on a front blade price for my
L3010. It was late in the day for them, so I really didn't expect an answer, and the salesman said he would get in touch with me the following week ( Monday or there abouts). Wed. night I hadn't heard anything, so I called again, spoke with a receptionist, and was told the salesman was outside with a customer, so I left a voice mail asking him to call me as soon as reasonably possible. Today, 11/17 at noon time, I still hadn't heard anything, so I e-mailed the same salesman, and asked him to call me regarding the blades info. Later this afternoon I received a reply to my e-mail from the salesman at MB, stating he was sorry for the delay in responding, and that he had a price for a Q/A loader plate, and Q/A front blade that would be "about the same money", and "I think it would work better for you". Now, that doesn't sound like a very good answer to a specific request for a Kubota factory front blade does it? I still have to call him back when I get home from work, but I just have to wonder, I've been quoted $3800 from my local dealer, been e-mailed by Carver Eq. that Kubota no longer makes a front blade assy. for the
L3010, and received a reply from MB that was just the opposite of a very specific request for a product, and at the same time I've seen replies to this thread from other owners who have paid much less than $3800 for their blades. What is wrong with ths picture??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I feel like my local dealer is too high in his quote, and maybe Carvers and MB salesman isn't really taking my request seriously. Sorry for the rambling post, but all I want to do is buy a non- loader arm front blade for my tractor, and I can't get one for what seems like a reasonable price without major frustration.
