Kubota filter price skyrocketing?

Pretty recent one too. I guess I did not remember it because my dealer was pricing things the same as Tractorsmart so it was easy just to buy from him and not worry about it...

Tractorsmart seems to be holding their prices ok. Most of the local farmers around central Missouri swear by WIX filters and Shell Rotella T oil for their diesels. Both are readily available in most Ag areas, and Wix has a website that will cross reference nearly every number. I don't know who makes filters for Kubota, but WIX is probably the highest rated HD filter made, and they cost less than Kubota. I am going to switch when I run out of my stock of K filters.

NAPA's filters are made by Wix. My NAPA parts store said just drop the first digit from Wix's part no. and that's the NAPA part no. Dave..

The new local dealer in the southern area of Ann Arbor just sold me a set of filters for a B2400. They were the expected price: about $4.20 and $4.65 and $2.35 for the fuel filter. The air filters are about $28. I've seen them as high as $34.
