I don't know how farmers protect their equipment something I will ask my dealer about.

My equipment is listed on my farm insurance policy. Now saying that I took the KATC insurance over my farm policy when I bought my last tractor. About $420 a year if my memory is correct. Mainly because of the guaranteed coverage off property and pricing. I couldn't remember how mine was. But I'm thinking my coverage moves with me. Because my agent asked if we had rental ground and we do. Plus he's more expensive.

I have KTAC on all 3 of my Kubotas...The rep told me that this policy covers liability on and off property in addition to the machine itself and also covers the machine in transport. Homeowners covers little of that. Assuming that I'm not using it commercially, which I don't.

Checked again with State Farm and nothing they had could beat KTAC's premiums by a wide margin.

Not an expert by any means, but reading the brochure, this insurance covers the tractor and only the tractor...... No where on the pages does it say that it is a liability policy. Make sure if you are using it off your property, you have a good liability policy. They are only covering the loan you took out..... Not damage to another party.

One thing to consider is KTAC provides excellent service with a $250 deductible. So if something happens, like you drive your FEL into a stump and bend the loader arms, KTAC will pay to have your dealer come to your house assess the damage and order the parts. When the parts come in KTAC pays to have a tech sent out to do the repairs on site. Everything is done very quickly and easily. My homeowners has a$1000 deductible.
