Financing Kubota Finance Rates Extended

Kubota has extended their low rate finacing through 8/31/03.

24 months 0.00% APR
36 months 0.00% APR
48 months 2.99% APR
60 months 2.99% APR
72 months 3.99% APR **

** Terms greater than 60 months are available for M-series tractors only or for Consumer (personal/household) use only for L-series tractors.

Anybody have any inside information on Kubota financing after 08-31-03? It looks like most of the John Deere rates have been extended through 10-31-03

My question is, what are they going to do after the financing incentives are over? It would really burn my biscuit if they started giving away stuff I have already bought when I purchased the tractor. Or worse yet, if they gave cash back on the tractors.

I don't have any inside information - but there's a lot of very public information that shows world interest rates are on the floor and show no sign of getting up anytime soon. The prevailing interest rate in Japan has been ZERO for a long time. They are actually looking at deflation there, right? Kubota's rates went down slowly here but they are at zero now too. To keep sales moving along, they threaten higher rates - but odds are the trip back up will be slow. The fact that they'll give a three-year loan at zero tells us they don't expect much movement before that.

Kubota has told its dealers that the 0% will be ending at the end of this month. What they do on September 2 is any bodies guess. Normally they do not release any details about what the next months programs will be unitl the morning of the 1st of the next month to keep people from trying to play one program against another.
