Has anyone built a homemade front grill guard for a Kubota L3130? If so, would you mind sharing what you used to do it and the dimensions/measurements?

I have the tools, welder etc. and access to angle iron or tubular steel stock. All I need is a template or other guidance. Maybe just a picture of yours and I'll go from there.

Thanks men,
Podunk

Hello Podunk,

I made a Brush Guard for a New Holland, but searched TBN and gathered Ideas from Green,Orange,Blue,Red owners who had built their own brushguards.

I just took measurements off My tractor, started the "Frame" to attach to the tractor. Then built the BrushGuard to attach to the "Frame"

Here is a link to the thread showing a few picks of the BrushGuard I built

Do you have the open factory grill guard that is very open? Because that is what I had but I was always a worried in the woods. I got a piece of small mesh crusher screen and covered it.

If you were asking me, here's a picture depicting the front frame where the brushguard will go. I could buy one from the dealer, but I have heard that they aren't too good for protection, but are rather cosmetic with a little protection.

Deerhunterf350, I appreciate you taking the time to post the link to your pics. They are just what I have been looking for. I like the style and the ability to tilt is a definite "plus". Thanks! I should be able to fabricate a guard with resemblance to yours. Once I do, I'll post up some pics.

Regards,
AJ
