kubota gas eng.help, runs then shuts off 10/mins

I have a kubota 3 cyclinder gas engine on my 1997 bucket truck it starts and run fine until it warms up 10/15min.then it just keep shutting down,i have replaced the coil and it still does it... i drained the bowl on the carb and found it clean .since i don't have a owners manual i am limited with some info... any help would be great,.... does this motor have points or is it elctronic? thanks jody

i don;t think it 's the carb cuz it runs fine for a good 10/ 15 mins

Look for fuel lines that might be collasping. It sounds like it might be a fuel line or something that is closing up once it get's warm. Or some other vaccum line.

Check the vent in the gas cap. If it's plugged it'll run a few minutes then die. after a while it'll do it again.

Just run it till it quits, unscrew the cap and try to restart. If it runs it's the cap.

You might also check for voltage at coil input after it dies. This would indicate ignition module or pick-up coil on crank or in distributor if no voltage present.

Does it start right back up? Have you pulled a plug wire when it quits to see if you have spark? No spark, ignition. Other wise fuel problem.

Barahk's Tree, were you able to resolve this issue? I ask because I am having a similar problem with a dual fuel three cylinder Kubota (DF750E).

I had a Kubota gas mower that did something similiar to this. The ring on the gas lid fell into the gas tank and melted. It was laying right on top so I pulled it out. Some time later it started doing this. I looked at fuel filter and could see part of the melted ring in the filter, replaced filter and the problem was solved. Hope your solution is as simple.
