Can anyone provide instructions on replacing the mower belt on a GR2000? Does the dek have to come off? How do you get the belt on with the PTO shaft in the way?
I had a GR 2100 (same deck I would think..mine was the 54"). I never replaced my belt but I did have the deck off several times and I strongly suspect the anwser to your question is yes.
Deck needs to come off. You also need to take one of the side brackets of gear box off in order to get belt on. I did this a few years ago-I can't remember if it matters what bracket on gearbox.
