It's a nice modification, you know the drill.
How about a way to quickly move the FEL controls so one can bail out on the right side when their tilt meter fails?:steeringwheel:
Now That'd be dangerous! Fred
You mean like a drop and bend Joystick for your roll and jump escape?
My Tilt meter is all mechanical gears and weight driven, won't fail, but I did tip the tractor over twice, both times because ( I really hate to admit this) but I forgot and I looked right at my meter. Boom tractor on its side. I just didn't listen to the little voice in my head.
"don't ever want to be looking up at these things guys, watching the little things turn, getting all carried away, I'm telling ya, you'll tip over "
Waxman how big is your lathe? I bought a new 13 x 40 a few years ago made by Knuth, a good German company. When I took delivery I found it was a Taiwan made cheap piece of crap., very upset about it. I should have known better.

It's a Hardinge tool room B lathe from 1957 the A has the threading gears, I completely went thru it, right down to the name plates. Still made the same way today. I believe its 9x20 It a classic work horse American lathe, like the Bridgeport
Built so you can easily take it apart and put it back together. Made the way things used to be, This one electric motor speed carriage Trade Mark of Hardinge for fine tool room finish.
